Commitment to Accessibility

Step One works to ensure digital accessibility and a good user experience for those with disabilities by continuing to learn and consider accessibility in  our work, as well as following relevant accessibility standards.

Accessibility Measures

Step One takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:​

  • Perform all best practices with website content (e.g., alt text, subtitles for videos)

  • Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.

  • Designate an accessibility officer.

  • Take ongoing accessibility training.

  • Continue to learn from those well-versed in accessibility considerations.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards, and Level AAA wherever possible. While our goal is WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, we recognize that there may be some limitations and some parts of the content may not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
